Jamie Carragher believes that Arsenal will be 'nervous' after watching Manchester City hammer Liverpool 3-0, cutting their lead to four points. But Liverpool legend Carragher does maintain that Mikel Arteta's side are still the 'best team' in the Premier League.
City capitalised on Arsenal dropping two points in the dying embers at Sunderland on Saturday with a statement win against Liverpool. Although the Gunners boast the early-season advantage, there's still an 'awful long way to go', as Carragher explained.
"I still think Arsenal are the best team I've seen in this league this season, no doubt," the former Liverpool defender told . "But there's an awful long to go and there's no doubt because Arsenal haven't won the league for so long, those supporters, players, manager - everyone will become twitchy in the second half of the season if it becomes tight."

Carragher went on to add: "I think Arsenal will be nervous [in the title race] because it's Man City and they've done this to them twice before. Twice in last three years, Manchester City have come from behind and caught Arsenal.
"And also the manner of the victory, that first-half performance from Man City... Liverpool are the champions - they absolutely took them to the cleaners. I think on the back of Arsenal dropping points against a promoted team - who are doing absolutely fantastically well in the Premier League, Sunderland - they'd have been hoping for a draw [between City and Liverpool].
"They've seen City not just win but the performance and [they're] probably getting a few flashbacks to what's happened the last couple of times when they felt they had a great chance at a title. It might be a long two weeks, thinking and worrying, for Arsenal supporters and players."
His comments echo what ex-City midfielder Owen Hargreaves said on TNT Sports last week after Pep Guardiola's side beat Borussia Dortmund 4-1 at home in the Champions League on Wednesday. "I think they're slowly building," Hargreaves stated.
"Doing well in the Champions League, second in the Premier League, obviously got a big game at Anfield on Sunday. If they win that then it's game on for everything.
"I think as great as Arsenal are, they haven't done it, they haven't won it yet, and they're getting there, they're going to win it eventually. But the last team you want chasing you is these guys; they've been there and done it for such a long time, the players and the manager.
"But I think they've put themselves in a great position, Arsenal, but this City team are going to chip away quietly. And if they can get Rodri back into the mix with this team, with what they have, then it will be a fascinating title race."
