Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has issued an official advertisement for the vacancies on the posts of 'Assistant Public Prosecutor' (APO) for the candidates. Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor, the candidate must be a graduate of a recognized institute in India. Also, the minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years. Apart from this, the maximum age of candidates for the General and EWS categories is 35 years, 37 years for the OBC category, 38 years for women (unreserved/backward class/extremely backward class), and 40 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a preliminary examination, main examination, and interview. Let us tell you, that there will be two papers in the preliminary examination. In the first paper, questions of 100 marks from General Studies and in the second paper, questions of 200 marks from Law subject will be asked. Candidates selected in the preliminary examination will be invited to the main examination. In the main examination, candidates will be asked questions of 100-100 marks from Hindi, English, Essay, and General Studies subjects. Apart from this, there are four papers based on law subject, in which questions of 200-200 marks will be asked from the candidates. An interview of 50 marks will also be conducted for the candidates who have passed the main examination.
Exam Fee
To apply for this post, candidates have to pay different exam fees as per the category. The exam fee for General, EWS and OBC candidates is Rs 600, and for ST/SC candidates of Jharkhand state, the exam fee is Rs 150.
