Meta has launched a new AI-generated video feed, featuring only AI-created videos. Meta has named it Vibes, and it can be accessed through Meta AI.
Social media is about to explode. Meta has launched a new AI video feed, called Vibes, where users can generate and remix AI videos. The company has taken this bold step to create a new category in social content. This will challenge other platforms like TikTok, which still rely on users for content. Meta has placed its bet on AI-generated content through this feed.
Where and how to use it?
Vibes can be accessed through the Meta AI app and website. It will be a kind of AI chatbot, acting as a creative hub. For example, currently, you see videos created by others on social media, but on Vibes, videos generated by AI will appear after human prompts. If you like a video, the platform offers the option to remix it. This allows you to add music, change visuals, or create an entirely new video by providing a new prompt of your choice.
Meta Wins
In addition to competing with TikTok in a new way, Meta has also won a new category. Just a few days ago, Elon Musk announced that the now-defunct Vine app could be revived, featuring AI-generated videos. Even before Musk's plan was completed, Meta launched a new platform. It is designed to easily integrate into Meta's ecosystem. Videos created on it can be shared to Instagram and Facebook stories and reels.
