Paresh Rawal has done more than 200 films, so its no surprise that he has worked with some of the biggest superstars of the country. In a recent interview, the veteran actor shared the different working styles of Aamir Khan and Salman Khan — both having immense star power but polar opposite approaches to cinema.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Paresh Rawal said that Salman Khan is more instinctual in his approach to making films while Aamir Khan is more diligent.

Explaining Salman’s style, Paresh Rawal said, “Salman understands a scene on a gut level. He is such a charming fellow. On screen, he is magic. When he comes on set, he doesn’t have to work too hard. He just flows with it.”

On the other hand, Aamir works very methodically. “Aamir has to work around and know things in depth and detail. That is why Aamir sahab thoda time lete hain (that is why Aamir takes more time while shooting). Meanwhile, Salman is hawa ka jhoka, kab aaya, udake ke le gaya, pata bhi nahi chalta (Salman is like a strong breeze, you don’t even realise when he arrives and sweeps everything away with him),” said Paresh.

Paresh Rawal worked with Aamir and Salman in Andaaz Apna Apna (1994), which has become a cult classic over the years. He has also worked separately with both actors. Some of his films with Aamir Khan include Daulat Ki Jung (1992), Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995) and Holi (1984). The actor has worked in even more films with Salman Khan like Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), Ready (2011), Baghban (2003) and Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega… (2000).

The actor is busy promoting his upcoming film Nikita Roy, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Rampal. He was recently in the news for walking out of Hera Pheri 3, but is now back in the film after weeks of controversies and protests by fans of the beloved franchise.
