Even off the cricket field, MS Dhoni continues to show why he’s adored by millions. The former India captain, known for his humility and sharp wit, recently made headlines for a heartwarming moment at a close friend’s birthday celebration — and it’s winning the internet. The videos, shared by Sumeet Kumar Bajaj on Instagram, show Dhoni celebrating Surender Kumar’s birthday at home in an intimate gathering filled with friends, family, and laughter.

As Surender cut the cake and offered Dhoni the first slice, the cricketer quickly deflected the gesture, urging him to serve his wife first. Dhoni jokingly reminded him that he still had to live in the house, while he (Dhoni) would be leaving soon, leaving everyone in splits. In another wholesome moment, when he was offered a slice again, Dhoni insisted that the children be served first. Only after ensuring that everyone else had been served did he accept a piece.
