The testing will happen between Palwal (Haryana) and Mathura (87 km), a section that is equipped with the Kavach system, a safety technology developed by Indian Railways.

Once operational, this train will provide a faster and more comfortable option for passengers traveling between Indore and New Delhi.
What is Kavach?
Kavach is an Indian-made automatic train protection system. It helps prevent accidents caused by human error, such as jumping signals or speeding. Kavach alerts the loco pilot to danger signals and automatically slows or stops the train if needed. It also ensures safer train operations in bad weather conditions.
The upcoming trial will also test the efficiency and working of the Kavach system on the Palwal–Mathura route.
Passengers in Madhya Pradesh are hopeful that the Indore-Nizamuddin Vande Bharat will soon be available for public travel after successful trials.
