Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU), which has rapidly established itself on the global education map, is set to host the Global Entrepreneurs Conclave (GEC) in Dubai from August 16 to 18. The event will be inaugurated by Maharashtra’s Industries Minister Uday Samant at Hotel Conrad, Dubai.
The conclave is jointly organized by Pimpri Chinchwad University, the Maharashtra Economic Development Board, Garje Marathi Global, and Sava Healthcare Ltd, with the aim of promoting industrial and business collaboration between Maharashtra and Gulf countries.
Under the leadership of Vinod Jadhav, Chairman of Sava Healthcare Ltd., and in coordination with the Department of Industries, the GEC will serve as a platform for entrepreneurs from India and the Gulf to exchange ideas, explore collaboration opportunities, and discuss future business trends.
According to Sachin Itkar, Vice Chairman of the Maharashtra Economic Development Board and GEC Coordinator, and Dr. Girish Desai, Executive Director of PCU, the event will include seminars on topics such as:

Investment opportunities
Future of the industrial sector
Global economic policies
Infrastructure and technology
Challenges for new businesses
Participants will also hear inspiring success stories and gain insights from prominent entrepreneurs and professionals. Additionally, visits to Dubai's free zones, innovation hubs, and the DP World JAFSA Center in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi will be arranged to give attendees exposure to ongoing industrial projects.
The conclave is being held under the guidance of senior scientist Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, along with the support of industry leaders such as Prataprao Pawar, Sandeep Waslekar, former minister Harshvardhan Patil, and Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust officials including President Dnyaneshwar Landge, Vice President Padmatai Bhosale, Secretary Vitthal Kalbhor, and Treasurer Shantaram Garade.
Also actively involved in the event are Atul Shirodkar, Chairman of Maharashtra Economic Development Board, and Anand Ganu, founder of Garje Marathi Global, alongside several Dubai-based industrial organizations.
The GEC is expected to open new avenues for startups and established businesses, foster global partnerships, and strengthen Maharashtra’s position in the international industrial ecosystem.
