Home services marketplace Clean Fanatics has raised $2 Mn (about INR 17 Cr) in its seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures, along with participation from Blume Founders Fund, Let’s Ventures, Trica, TiE Angels, and other angel investors.
The Bengaluru-based startup will deploy the capital for team expansion, tech stack upgradation and scaling new verticals such as home renovation and civil construction, it said in a statement.
Founded in 2024 by BJ Arun and Nishant Prasad, Clean Fanatics operates a marketplace for home service needs. Users can get professionals for services like deep cleaning, painting, marble polishing, civil renovations, and pest control services.
The startup currently provides services in Bengaluru and claims to serve 2,500 homes per month, generating an average monthly revenue of INR 2 Cr. It claims to have a retention rate of 95%.
Clean Fanatics competes with new-age tech startups like IPO-bound Urban Company, Pronto, Broomees, among others. The funding comes at a time when there is a significant upsurge in the Indian on-demand home services market, which is set to cross the $1 Bn mark by 2030.
As a result, investors are backing tech startups providing home services. In May, Snabbit, which provides home services in 10 minutes, raised $19 Mnin a round led by Lightspeed.
Similarly, Delhi NCR-based Pronto is in talks with Glade Brook Capital and General Catalyst to raise $12 Mn. The startup last raised $2 Mn in its seed round.
Meanwhile, Urban Company, one of the early entrants in the space, is gearing up for its INR 1,900 Cr IPO. Its public issue will comprise a fresh issue of INR 528 Cr, while existing investors will offload shares worth INR 1,471 Cr via an offer for sale. However, known for its hyperlocal services, the home service giant is showing signs of turning into a products-led company.
The development also comes at a time when funding in the Indian startup ecosystem is picking up after the funding winter. According to Inc42’s Indian Tech Startup Funding Report, Indian startups raised $5.7 Bn in H1 2025, up 8% from $5.3 Bn raised in H1 2024.
