Educating Yorkshire star Musharaf has issued an emotional life update 11 years after tear-jerking stammer scenes. The former pupil featured heavily on the Channel 4 reality show when it aired more than a decade ago.
He became known for his stammer, which he remarkably overcame in emotional scenes featuring teacher Matthew Burton, who revealed that his former pupil wants to be a teacher.
Appearing alongside his former teacher on Thursday's Lorraine, Matthew said: "Musharaf was interested in being a science teacher," and Musharaf replied: "Yeah, maybe one day I'll be a colleague of Matthew's but who knows?"
