For the third consecutive year, Naked Wines is reintroducing their sell-out Wine Advent Calendar, and our team's triple certified wine expert, Jada Jones, has hailed it as 'the best wine advent calendar on the market'. The calendar is priced at £99.99 but can be reserved now for just £10, with the balance to be paid later.
The calendar contains 24 glass-sized (125ml) servings from independent winemakers worldwide, which Naked Wines describes as 'world-class'. Instead of traditional bottles, these wines are presented in small boxes with labels.
While we can't confirm if this year's offering will be identical, the 2023 calendar included information about each wine on the box, allowing customers to learn a bit about what they were drinking. Jada revealed that she used this advent calendar to sample a wide range of wines during her WSET training after class.

Wine advent calendars are not a new concept. They typically include bottles; for instance, Laithwaites' calendar is currently priced at £89.99 and includes 23 miniature bottles and a full-sized bottle of prosecco for Christmas Eve.
Good Pair Days is even pricier. They offer two calendars, each containing 12 full-sized bottles of wine, which might be more suitable for sharing, reports the Manchester Evening News. There's a £140 'Classic' option and a £240 'Fancy' calendar.
Naked Wines' calendar is only available in limited quantities, with just 3,500 on offer this year. Each box contains sufficient wine for tasting without becoming overly intoxicated, though if customers enjoy a particular variety, Naked Wines has streamlined the process to order full bottles, promising delivery in time for Christmas dinner.
The calendarcosts £10 to pre-order today, with the remaining £89.99 charged when dispatched in November.
Whilst there are currently no online reviews for this advent calendar, Jada sampled a previous version and commented: "This is the best wine advent calendar on the market. I've never been so impressed with a variety pack and the box is small enough that I could tuck the white and roses in the fridge without worrying about fridge space.
"This is a great option for those learning about wine. The spines are labelled with the style of wine, from fruity or smooth reds to crisp whites. I think that's a really good way of making wine tasting more accessible as there are so many wines we might not ever try because we find the name intimidating without realising it's to our taste."
