Vinted seller shares five items people are 'desperate to buy' this autumn

A Vinted seller has shared the fiveitems you need to list this autumn if you're having a clear out to earn some extra cash. Sam, who is known as @theunbusybee on TikTok, uses her platform to share herfavourite side hustles as well as tips and tricksto boost your bank account.

In a video, she was open about how she's earning money on the marketplace app used by second hand buyers and sellers. She said: "Here's five things that I have listed on Vinted this week that are selling really well. The summer slump has definitely gone and people are starting to buy their autumn stuff."

To make sure she stands out on the selling platform, she makes a conscious effort to list 10 to 20 items per day to ensure sales. She said: "Make sure you're uploading consistently."

Starting off her list, she says it's the perfect time to upload knitwear, saying: "I've been selling quite a lot of lightweight knitwear."

Secondly, she says it's a great time to clear out your unwanted Halloween-related items - everything from clothing to décor items.

Naming a 'niche' item, she says children's puddle suits are selling in just minutes on the platform as we enter the cold, wet and windy months. She said: "They've been selling for really good money."

Similarly, she says raincoats have been flying due to the English weather turning soar. She added: "People don't want to wear thick coats, they want really nice thin raincoats."

Finally, she says autumn dresses have been selling well on Vinted, especially those which are purple, orange, and red in colour.

People could definitely relate to the Vinted seller's tips and took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

Commenting on her post, one user said: "Just noticed last 12 days or so really picking up now, it was my first summer season reselling this year and scared me how it went over kids holidays.

"Now [it's] really back in the swing and back to daily posting so I’m ever so pleased. Kid's big winter coats going within 10 mins for me at the moment."

Another user added: "Puddle suits have gone mad and good pricing!"

Sharing another item they've noticed selling at speed, a third user said: "Wellies, I sold five pairs in a few hours."

One more user added: "I’m not a reseller, just having a good clear out but some of my stuff is new etc. if I get fed up I’ll take it to a charity shop!"
