When PM Modi went to Britain, a tea stall was set up at Checkers, the official residence of the British Prime Minister. Tea seller Akhil Patel welcomed both of them at his stall, and during this, PM Modi said, "Discussion over tea."

When Akhil returned to the country after completing his studies, he went to Ladakh in 2018. Here, an idea in his mind made him a 'Chaiwala' in London.

In 2019, Akhil founded 'Amla Chai', inspired by the tea made by his grandmother. He promoted his brand with the slogan "Home-style tea" and now he has stalls at 6 places in London.
