A crash on the M6 prompted traffic woes for motorists on Sunday morning. The collision that occurred on the northbound stretch through North Staffordshire between J15 and J16 brought traffic to a standstill on September 21.
Traffic monitoring system Inrix issued an alert earlier this morning warning drivers that "all traffic is being temporarily held", StokeonTrentLive reports. Later in the day, lanes were reopened, but delays persisted.
