Oscar Pistorius reportedly wants to have children with his new girlfriend after being released from prison on parole at the start of last year. The former Paralympian was jailed for culpable homicide in 2014 after shooting his girlfriend at the time, Reeva Steenkamp, through a locked bathroom door. He left prison under house arrest but returned after eventually being convicted of murder in 2015.
Pistorius had both his legs amputated below the knee at the age of 11 months after being born with fibular hemimelia. The 38-year-old went on to win six gold medals across three Paralympic Games and became known as the Blade Runner due to his use of carbon-fibre prosthetic running blades. He made history in 2012 after becoming the first amputee sprinter to compete at the Olympics when the Games came to London. But he was locked up after killing Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013.
According to the Daily Mail, Pistorius has been spotted lunching with his girlfriend Rita Greyling at the Goddess Cafe in Waterkloof, South Africa.
And the former sprinter's appearance at the establishment is said to be regarded as a sure sign of how serious he is about his romance with Greyling.
A source told the aforementioned publication: "You can't imagine a less likely place to see Oscar Pistorius but he and Rita hold hands and look lovingly across the table at each other. He is besotted with her. You can see they are deeply in love."
Meanwhile, a source explained: "He has said he wants to settle down and have kids. He sees it as the next step for them."

The news comes after Pistorius' new girlfriend was warned by Steenkamp's mother June, 78, in a chilling message at the end of last year.
"I don't understand how she doesn't see a red flag about him because he has not lost his temper problem," June told The Sun in December after launching the Reeva Steenkamp Foundation Against The Abuse of Women and Children almost a decade ago.
"He was supposed to be under anger management when he was in jail and at one stage I stopped him coming out because I was annoyed that he wasn't having treatment. He was angry - and he still has a problem with anger.
"He's still a danger to women. Reeva only knew him for three months and she was dead, and he's never confessed."
She added: "It's not painful for me that he's with this young woman - I'm just worried about her.
"Our foundation is about the abuse of women and children and it's out of control in this country."
