The second season of The Sandman has begun streaming on Netflix, featuring the return of Tom Sturridge as Dream, who is battling to prevent The Dreaming from disappearing entirely.
The latest series takes inspiration from Neil Gaiman's stories such as Season of Mists, Brief Lives, The Kindly Ones and The Sandman: Overture.
The synopsis states: "After a fateful reunion with his family, Dream of the Endless must face one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the epic fallout of his past misdeeds.
"To make amends, Dream must confront longtime friends and foes, gods, monsters, and mortals. But the path to forgiveness is full of unexpected twists and turns, and true absolution may cost Dream everything."
Here's everything you need to know about part two and the number of episodes it will include.
Part 2 of the final season consists of five episodes, all of which will be released simultaneously on July 24 - three weeks following the release of part one.
The titles for the upcoming episodes have all been disclosed, including:.
Chapter 7: Time and Night
Chapter 8: Fuel for the Fire
Chapter 9: The Kindly Ones
Chapter 10: Long Live the King

In addition to the 11 episodes, a bonus twelfth episode will be available on July 31.

Reddit users have taken to the platform to express their feelings about the upcoming conclusion of a popular show, which will draw its final curtain after its sophomore season.
Theodewitt posted: "Feel like its gonna be rushed, but at least gonna have an ending."
Dalakaar remarked: "That's likely the best of a s***** situation.
"I feel a bit bad for the actors who probably thought they were set up for a bit, only to find themselves collateral damage. (And they all did a great job in S1.)"
Expanding on their impression of the show, Dalakaar shared, "This was a bit of a surprise show for me, came outta nowhere, expected not to really like it, even had to give it two goes to get through it, but wound up loving it once I was ready."
Amidst this discussion, the series makes its return under the cloud of sexual misconduct allegations against Gaiman, which he has strongly refuted.
