NEW DELHI: Leader of opposition and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi , on Tuesday night, made a surprise visit at a pizza restaurant in Gurugram ’s Galleria Market.
Haryana Congress spokesperson Manish Khatana told PTI that only a handful of party leaders knew about the visit. He added that Rahul spent around 45 minutes at the restaurant, where he also interacted with the staff and left for Delhi later, according to PTI.
In a video circulating online, the Congress leader is seen wearing a pink T-shirt and greeting people.
Speaking to Manish Khatana, Rahul Gandhi said that development has stalled not only in Gurugram but across Haryana due to the BJP’s negligence.
The senior Congress leader also noted during his interaction that the BJP has lost public trust and is now resorting to vote theft to stay in power, PTI reported.
This was reportedly his second such surprise visit, as Rahul had made a similar stop at another cafe in Galleria Market four years ago.
